Who Are We?

Hanhu Jo was born in South Korea and immigrated to Pennsylvania along with his family. During his earlier education, he pursued a degree in Physical Therapy; however, his passion for cooking took charge and he enrolled in Pennsylvania Culinary Arts. After graduating with an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts, he honed his skills through Jr. Hot Food Team Competitions and began his culinary journey as apprentice at the Greenbrier Hotel and Resort in West Virginia under the mentorship of various exceptional Culinary Master Chefs including Peter Timmins and Richard Rosedale.

Upon graduating the apprentice program from Greenbrier, he joined the prestigious Westchester Country Club, NY as a Sous Chef under Certified Master Chef Edward Leonard and worked his way up to become restaurant chef at the club. Hanhu expanded his knowledge in South Florida while working as Executive Sous Chef at Country Clubs such as the Mizner Country Club, The Lost Tree Club, and the Sailfish Club, and soon followed his dream to own a restaurant.

Hanhu’s training and passion have instilled in him a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations by providing top quality dishes with the highest quality local and sustainable ingredients at their core. Hanhu strives to consistently showcase the best of what South Florida has to offer through his culinary skills and world class techniques.

Hanhu met his wife Delia while both working in the culinary field and have been living in South Florida for the last ten years. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Ahmi and Dorica, who also express the same common passion for cooking delicious dishes. They enjoy all that Florida has to offer including spending time on the beach, riding bikes, and explore nature.
